How is VBA different to advance excel

RE: VBA

Hello Zahoor

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

VBA is a coding language that can be used to create complex macros in Excel. Code is written in the Visual Basic Editor which looks different to the Excel interface. You can access the Visual Basic Editor by going to Tools - Macro and selecting Visual Basic Editor. The Excel VBA course teaches you how to write code using the VBE.

On the Excel Advanced course, training is carried out within the 'normal' Excel program that we are used to seeing when we open Excel.

Kind regards
Amanda

Excel tip:

Change the Default Width of All Columns in Excel 2010

If you want to change the width of the columns in your Excel 2010 spreadsheet, making them either larger or smaller, here's how:

In the Cells group on the Home tab, click Format.

Hover over the section called Cell Size and a drop down list will appear, select Default Width from this list.

In the Standard Width dialog box, enter the size you want to set as the default width and click OK.
