Thank you for your post, I'm going to assume you mean Macos, this is covered in some depth in our Advanced course but as a little background... A macro is a recording of keystrokes and mouse movements which is played back when required. Macros are normally recorded using the Macro recorder and are used to complete repetitive and mundane tasks. Basically whatever can be recorded by the Macro recorder will be played back ... somewhat like a tape recorder would.
To create a Macro go to Tools>Macro.Record a new macro, give your macro a name (no spaces) and then record your key and mouse commands. When you have finished click the Stop Recording button. To 'play' your macro follow the steps above and from the macro list in Macros click run, there are other methods of running macros but these are covered on the Advanced course ... Pete
