Thank you for your post.
To answer your question: Without a doubt the most commonly used formula is the =SUM formula, this allows you to total two or more named cells in column or row alignment, known as a range of cells ie =SUM(A1:C25) this would add up (Sum) all the cells in the range A1 through to C25 and give the answer in the selected cell.
