How do you link different project plans.

Hi Thomas
Thanks for your question. Create a blank project and then from the insert menu choose Insert project. Once they are both in your plan you can drag and link between the tasks you'd like tc connect. If necessary double click on the link created and change it for a more suitable link. Close and save your files. You can delete the temporary project, the remaining files are now linked.

MS Project tip:Keep constraining dates to a minimumAs far as possible avoid fixing the dates of your tasks. For example try to steer of clear dragging task bars in the Gantt chart to move them on the timeline or entering dates directly into the Start / Finish fields. |
