Task information
When setting up multiple tasks which all have the same duration, how do I update the duration for all tasks at the same time instead of having to go in and update each one individually?
RE: Task information
Hi Alison
Thanks for your question. Try this:
Highlight the tasks you would like to update by selecting them. Right click on the highlighted tasks and choose Task information. In the general tab set the duration you want and click OK. All tasks should now have the duration you entered.
I hope this helps - let us know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:Compare Work and DurationDuration is the timescale within which a task is done; Work is the specific time element used. For example, 3 days work in a duration of 2 weeks. To compare, add the Work field into the Entry table by right clicking a column heading to Add Field. |
