If you save a Macro in the Personal Macro Workbook the Macro will work in any spreadsheet I open but only in my computer, not in anyone else's from my company? I mean, is it possible to share Macros across different computers that are part of the same department and share the same drives?
RE: Macros
Hi Marta
There is no way to directly share yours macros with colleagues through a network.
If you have a macro in your Personal Macro Workbook that you need to share, then the simplest way is to copy the macro into an empty workbook and send it to them.
They can then open the workbook every time they run Excel for the macro to be available, or copy the macro into their own Personal Macro Workbook.
Instead of sending each colleague the workbook you could store the workbook in the shared drive for everyone to Access.
Hope this helps
Carlos
