Is it possible to transfer the excel document into a word file?
RE: Word
Dear Jennie
Thank you for attending Excel Advanced course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
Yes it is possible to transfer Excel into Word.
If you want to simply transfer the data you can use normal Copy and paste feature. Please remember that when you copy data from Excel into Word it always pastes it as a Table with Rows and columns. You may not necessarily see the borders in Word.
But if you want to paste it as a link so that if you change information in Excel and the data automatically gets updated ion Word then you copy the data from Excel and when you place the cursor where you want the data to be pasted you choose Edit > Paste Special... Choose the option for Paste Link and in eth right hand list choose Microsoft Office Excel worksheet object.
Press OK.
Please remember that if you are in Word and want to update the Excel object you have to double-click on the Excel object and it will automatically open the Excel program and the linked file. After you have made the changes you simply save and close the Excel file and all eth relevant changes will be reflected in Word.
I hope this has answered your query.
If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!
Kindest Regards
