Thanks for the question sorry i didn't get back to you before now

When it comes to macros the things you can do are many all you need to do is think of what tasks you would like to record then record a macro

Make sure you know the steps to record and follow them to the letter especially if the macro may take you more than about 10 minutes to do

Excel tip:

Validating text entries

1. Select the range of cells.
2. From the Data menu, select Validation.
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. From the Allow dropdown list, select Custom.
5. In the Formula box, enter the following formula:

=IsText (A1)

where A1 is the first cell in the range.
6. Click OK.
