How can I use negative lag to keep to my base line

RE: project

Hi Ross

Thank you for your question - welcome to the forum!

Negative lag or lead time can be used to refine the model represented by your Gantt Chart.

Either double clicking a successor task name and choosing the predecessor tab or double clicking on the the arrow that connects successor and predecessor takes you to a dialog box that allows you to enter postive or negative lag.

Negative lag brings the sucessor task earlier in the plan and is often used to represent starting tasks earier than scheduled in order to bring a project back into line with its baseline.

I hope this helps - let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew
