Auditing

How do you audit cells which are link to cells in separate worksheets or workbooks?

RE: Auditing

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for your question.

If you click on the cell and then choose Show Precedents, you will see an audit arrow appear pointing to a little spreadsheet icon. When you double click on the line, the Go To box appears and you can view the cell references.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Go to source of a cell

The default setting in Excel is when you double click in a cell it actives the formula in the cell. If you have created a link and want to directly go to that link (say if on another sheet, click on Tools -options and take off the tick for eidt it directly in cell
