Hi,

When trying to set up a new database the forms do not hold information from tables although they are set up to do so and they were previously working - only current record being entered then it disappears, data is still in tables - have checked all properties and they are consistant with forms which work. Any ideas as to why the forms aren't holding the data?

many thanks,

Amanda

RE: Access

Hi Amanda,

Can I first suggest you check the source is still correct in the form properties. Even if it is there, I would suggest to try to re-click it in from the drop down. More than once I have found re-selecting the exact same named source does help even though it doesn't appear it could. This can happen due for some unexplained reasons, possibly that whilst the name of the source is still remembered the computer or sever memory address information can get corrupted.

Good luck. If it doesn't work then we can investigate further.

Regards, Mark (Delegate)

Thanks Mark, I'll give your suggestions a go!
