Task setup

How can you start a successor task only after a predecessor task is 75% complete?

RE: Task setup

Hi Alpa

Thanks for your question. You can double click on your successor task and give it's relationship to the predecessor a minus 75% lag. Project will calculate negative lag (lead time) of 75% of the duration of the predecessor and position your successor task accordingly.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have more questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:

Compare Work and Duration

Duration is the timescale within which a task is done; Work is the specific time element used. For example, 3 days work in a duration of 2 weeks. To compare, add the Work field into the Entry table by right clicking a column heading to Add Field.
