How can I wrap the text of a task in Calendar so that all of the task can be seen without being sent behind another task?
RE: Calendar
Hi Lisa
As far as I'm aware there are no settings to change the row height in Calendar view (View > Calendar) to allow word wrapping. In the Gantt chart (View > Gantt chart) however you can change the row height to allow word wrapping.
Find the task whose name is too long to fit the Task Name column. Move your mouse to the row number for that task and hover the pointer on the row line just below the number.
Left click and drag down. The row height for that task will increase and any hidden text in the row name will wrap into the new space.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:Formatting Bar TextTo display notes or resource initials on the Gantt chart bars, choose Format, Bar Styles and the Text tab. Select the position you want to show the text i.e. Top or Inside etc, then choose the field name you are looking for from the drop down arrow. Type the first letter of the name to get quickly to the top of the letter range. Click OK. |
