How do I create switchboards linked to Main switchboards?
RE: Switchboards
Hi Michael
To work on the Switchboard you need to open the Switchboard Manager. To do this:
1. In the Tools menu, Select Database Utilities and then click Switchboard Manager
2. In the Switchboard Manager dialog box click the New button to create a new Switchboard. Do this for every switchboard you require.
3. When done click on the Main Switchboard (Default) line and click the Edit button
a. In the Edit Switchboard Page dialog box click the New button to create the links on the Main Switchboard .
b. The links should Open the other switchboards already created.
c. Click Close .
4. You can edit the other switchboards to open forms or run reports bu following step 3 above
When all the Switchboards have the correct links and are connected to the Main Switchboard then click Close and run the Switchboard as any other form
Hope this helps
Carlos

Access tip:Create a custom Close button on a FormBy default, Forms that you create in Access have a full set of control buttons, that is, a title bar with Minimize, Maximize and Close buttons in the top right-hand corner and a Control Menu in the top left-hand corner. |
