EDATE

Hello,

in my first cell (A1) I want to show today's date, hence =TODAY()
in the cell below i want to show the next month' date, hence =EDATE(A1,1)

However I am getting a #NAME? error message.

Who can help?

Thanks,

Veronika

RE: EDATE

Hi Veronika

Thank you for your question

I have replicated the steps you describe and it worked fine for me. There could be a problem with the formatting of your wokbook

I suggest you email me at stephenATstl-training.co.uk and attach the workbook in question.

I will then have a look at the problem for you

Regards

Stephen

Excel tip:

Reset Excel toolbars to default settings

If you find any of your toolbars in Excel have changed (i.e. they are missing or have extra buttons) then you can reset them to their defaults.

1. Go to Tools - Customise.
2. Select the Toolbars tab.
3. Select (highlight) the name of the toolbar you wish to reset, then click the Reset button on the right.
4. Close the dialogue box.
