How do you link various excel documents from various pc's?

E.g. Excel doc A ( on PC 1) feeds info to Excel doc B ( on pc 2 )

RE: Excel

Hi Fenian,
Thank you for your post, for starters it is not as straightforward as first it would seem, the pc's would have to be on the same network, the files would need to be shared with the feeder's folder set to sharing as well. Once that is correctly set up then the procedure to link the files is quite straight forward. In PC1 open doc A and in the cell you wish to link to PC2 type an = (equals sign) navigate to the other PC2 and find the cell you wish to link to, select it and press Enter. You can now copy the link (formula) to other cells using Fill. I hope that helps regards Pete

Excel tip:

No Zeros

Want all the zeros in your worksheet to appear blank? Choose Tools/Options, Click on the View Tab, Deselect the Zero Values Option, Click OK.
Easy wasn't it? But be aware that these cells are not actually blank, they still contain the value zero. This is important because certain functions (ie AVERAGE) make a distinction between blank cells and those with a zero value.
