Linking

How do I link my task together? Especially determining Finish-Start link? and creating work sheet!

RE: Linking

Hi Adesola

Thanks for your question.

There are lots of ways of linking tasks together. One approach is to hover the mouse pointer over the bar of the first task you'd like to link. When you see the four headed arrow left click and hold down then drag down the page until you reach the bar of the second task you'd like to link. Let go with your mouse and Project will create a Finish to Start relationship between the two tasks. In the worksheet or table the Predecessor column for the Successor task now has the ID number of the Predecessor.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew
