What do you find handy in subtotals?

Hi Anna
Thanks for posting this question, sorry its taken me a while to get back to you
the reason for using subtotals is so that you can find out one of many results from the sorted data
e.g. the sum, average, or count of the region column and have the result display in a different column. To find out the different function click on a cell that has the subtotal on then click the FX button on the formula bar
Then click help on this function at the bottom lefthand corner and read the information provided
