Rachel has attended:
Excel Advanced course

Macros

I'd like to know more about macros and more advanced techiques, but not sure the course will be too "techy" for me? What would you advise?

RE: Macros

Dear Rachel

Thank you for attending Excel Adv course. I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

As you have attended Excel Adv course I am sure that you have the basic understanding of how Macros work and so on. Please remember that if you are thinking of attending a VBA course it will be two day course and the first day will be to get you familiar with the basic coding etc...

So I wouldn't worry too much if I were you!!

I hope this helps

Can I please request you to mark this post as Resolved if you are satisfied with teh response.

Many thanks

Excel tip:

Turn off AutoComplete in Excel

You may have noticed when typing into your spreadsheets that if you start to enter labels that begin with the same letters as a label that has been previously entered in the same spreadsheet, Excel will try and automatically complete the text for you. This feature is called AutoComplete.

If you find this feature more annoying than useful, you can turn it off by:

1. Going to Tools - Options.

2. Select the Edit tab.

3. Remove the tick from next to the "Enable AutoComplete for cell values" option.

4. Click OK.
