Work Breakdown Structure

How do we create a WBS from the Gantt chart?

RE: Work Breakdown Structure

Hi Daniele

Thank you for your question. A straightforward work breakdown structure is created automatically. You can display the result of this by going to Tools > Options > View and choosing "show outline numbers"

If you have Visio on your machine you might also like to try the following: In Project from the view menu choose > toolbars > analysis. On the toolbar that appears you will find a Visio WBS chart wizard button. Click it to launch Visio which then imports data and visualises the WBS from project as a chart in Visio.

Hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Entering Days

To type in a day of the week, or its three letter abbreviation, in a Date field type "Monday" or "Mon", and Project will show the date for the next Monday after the current date.
