Thank you for your question and welcome the forum.
You can use dates as part of formulas in Excel, as Excel stores a date as a number (or value).
For example if you have entered today's date into cell A1, you can create a formula reading =A1+30 which will add 30 days to the date in cell A1, and give you the date which is 30 days after this date.
