Hi Leisl
I can understand what you need your spreadsheet to do and so I have allocated your post to an Excel trainer who I think will be able to help you.
Hopefully he will have an opportunity to look at your post tomorrow and get back to you then.

Amanda
Please e-mail the spreadsheet
Please e-mail the spreadsheet to forum AT stl-training.co.uk so one of our Excel trainers can have a look. Thanks.

Thank you for your question. The solution to the task you want to perform is not straight forward as it determined on many variables.
One of them is your knowledge of Excel Skill Sets covered in our courses as I notice you have not attended any of our courses. However probably have the skills necessary still I would like to check. The following skillsets would be required.
Absolute Referencing, Data validation by list, Nested If Statements & possible Vlookups.
Please advise me of the extent of your knowledge on these skillsets
The other major factor is the amount of items on each of the list, which will determine what methodology I would recommend.
Look forward to your reply.
