Exporting to Excel
When exporting to excel, will the decimal selection Eg "none" be transferred too?
RE: Exporting to Excel
Dear Ben
Thank you for attending Access Courses. I hope you enjoyed the courses and have started to put the new learnt skills into practice.
Yes the data type along with the filed property gets exported into Excel.
The quickest way to exporting an Access Table or Query from Access to Excel is to open the table or simply select it in Database window and choose Tools > Office Links > Analyze it with MS Excel.
You can also export it directly to Word by choosing Tools > Office Links > Publish it in MS Word
If you are doing a mail merge and want the fields in a table to be merged then you can choose Merge it with MS Word.
I hope this has helped in answering your query. If this has answered your question then may I please request you to mark this post as resolved!!
Many thanks
Kindest Regards
