Can you have 2 bits of the same information repeated throughout the tables?

RE: Information -

Dear Amy

Thank you for attending Access Introduction course. I hope you enjoyed the course and are finding the topics covered during the training useful.

I am not very clear about the question . Can I please request you to provide me an example so I can answer your query more effectively.

I would like to mention two things and may be that may answer your query.

You can use the shortcut key CTRL+

RE: Information -

Hello again! Thankyou for that however the example is If you have 1 table with say name, address, tel number, company if it is repeated anywhere else in another table it should be assigned a number or foreign key??rather than having the same info repeated elsewhere?
Hope this makes sense

Thanks Amie

RE: Information -

Access tip:

Dsum

You can create percentage values based on individual products / items by using a Dsum function (used with a grouped query)

[Each value column] / Dsum[field:total for the column needed to be calculated],[tablename]
