Hi Nadia,

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the forum.

In answer to your question; Before undertaking any editing on essential objects you should ensure you are working on a copy of the original, this way should unforeseen errors occur you will not have corrupted your database.

Sometimes it is better to re-record the Macro if it is a simple set of instructions/operations. However if this is not possible:

1. Go to File>New and open a new Worksheet. Then go to Window>Unhide to bring the personal macro workbook forward


 

Excel tip:

Selecting your working range

In excel if you have an area you want to highlight, press Ctrl + * or Ctrl+Shift+8 (to get the *). This will select your working range.
