Formating

best way to projecting figures etc

RE: formating

Hello Judy,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum;

In answer to your question, there are a number of ways in which projections can be accomplished in Excel, probably one of the most useful is to use the Scenarios Manager, this will allow you to enter different options which will then compute different projections for you, to see the Scenario Manager you will go to the Menu command Tools>Scenarios and observe the options that you are presented with.

If you want a full run through of Scenarios it is covered in our Advanced Course.

I hope that has helped, best regards Pete

Excel tip:

Difference between Two Dates

The DATEDIF function computes the difference between two dates. The DATEDIF function is as follows:

=DATEDIF (Date1,Date2,Interval)

Please note that Date1 must be less than (earlier) or equal to Date2

Please note that Interval must be one of the following codes: "d" (in days), "m" (in months), "y" (in years) expressed in quotes
