Working Hours
How do you change working hours after the project has been created? i.e. You have discovered that the working hours have been entered incorrectly.
RE: Working Hours
Hi sarah
Thank you for your question
Changing your project default calendar after you have entered tasks into your project is possible, but will have consequences for the duration of the tasks.
For example if you create a task based on the standard 8 hour day calendar, and sets its duration to one day, project will assume that there is one day of 8 hours involved.
If you then change the calendar to the 24 hour calendar, project will still assume that the task is only 8 hours duration. However, as a day now comprises 24 hours, 8 hours is only equal to 1/3 of a day and so the duration will change to accommodate this.
As a consequence you may need to alter task durations to compendate for this
Regards
Stephen
