Macro for formatting

Hi Elsbeth

If you have a certain format in mind then the best thing to do is record a macro that will include all those steps.

It is also important to be clear about the steps you are going to take once the macro starts to record because any mistakes you make while the macro is recording they will get recorded as well.

Select the area/range to be formatted before starting to record. This ensures that the recorded macro will work on any selected range.

To record the Macro:

1: Choose [b]Tools > Macro > Record New Macro

Excel tip:

Generating simple column charts

1.Select cell range containing data/figures
2. Press F11
