How do you copy information from one worksheet to a new one with out the format being changed?

RE: Worksheets

HI Sophie, Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum,

In answer to your question, if you are finding that the format is changing when you paste from one workbook to another you should confirm that your Paste special dialog box has not been changed to cause this.

Copy a piece of data with specific formatting and then navigate to your new workbook, instead of just pasting it go to Edit>Paste Special and ensure that the All radio button is selected.

If it is selected you should check that your version of Excel has been correctly and fully installed, Excel is totally compatible with itself and should not experience any problems similar to the one you have described.

I hope that has helped, regards Pete
