How many tasks can you have on one project?
RE: MS Project
Hi Laura
The maximum number of tasks is very large. For example in Project 2007 Microsoft indicate that the maximum number of tasks supported is 400,000. You can see more here
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/project/HP101065651033.aspx
However you will probably find that the hardware of the machine you are using to run Project will have an impact before you reach this level. The more tasks you have in your project the more system resources will be required and the slower your machine is likely to run.
Hope this is helpful - do let us know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards
Andrew
