How do i copy a formula from an existing spreadsheet?

RE: Formulas

Hi Kim, thank you for your post, welcome to the forum.
to copy a formula from one worksheet to another;

If you wish the formula to reference cells on another worksheet you should name the cells beforehand, then you will have created absolute references which are unique and can be used on any sheet within the workbook (255 pages max).
Use these cell/range names to create your formula, which can then be used on any of the sheets within your workbook.
To name a cell or range of cells select, and then in the name box type a meaningful name (without spaces) and press enter. this name can then be used in formulas in place of cell references.
I hope that has helped, regards Pete.

Excel tip:

Quickly hide and unhide rows and columns

Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+9 to hide selected rows and Ctrl+0 to hide selected columns. The good thing about this shortcut is that you do not need to select entire rows or columns. For example, select B3:D3 then press Ctrl+0 to hide columns B to D.

Ctrl+Shift+9 unhides rows and Ctrl+Shift+0 unhides columns.
