i have trouble with a chart template. the linetypes dont stay the same when i put new data in to the chart.

RE: charts

Hi Simon

Thank you for your question; and welcome to the forum.

Could you provide a little more detail on the specific problem you are having, e.g.

When you refer to a chart template, do you mean the chart has been created from one of the chart types you have selected from the Insert ribbon?

What type of chart did you select from the options provided?

How are you putting new data into the chart?

Is the data you are putting in additional to the data you have already charted (e.g. you have created a graph for January to May and you are adding in June) or are you graphing different data altogether?

Amanda

Excel tip:

Change Excel's default font

You can change the default font and font size for all spreadsheets created in Excel by:

1. Going to Tools on the menu bar.
2. Select Options, then General.
3. Next to Standard Font you can change the font and font size.
4. Click OK.

Each new file you start from this point onward should use the font and font size you have selected.
