Thanks for your question. One way of joining two projects together is to create a new temporary blank project. From here go to the insert menu and choose to insert a project. Choose the first of the projects you would like to link. Repeat this process for the second project. Now with both projects displayed in the temporary file you can use the mouse to click and drag between the bars to make links (remembering that you can always double click on a link you create and change it for a different type of link as well as adding lag). When you have finished you have two projects linked - you can close the temporary file and save changes to commit the links to the sub projects.
