How to change the times from default to 9am - 5.30pm?

RE: Calender

Hi Julie

thanks for your question.

This process takes a couple of steps.

First, go to tools-change working time and (assuming standard is the default calendar for your project) select the column headings for Monday to Friday and set the start time from 08:00 to 09:00 and the end time to 17:30

Next, click on the options button.
Adjust the start time to 09:00 and Finish time to 17:30 (matching the calendar changes you just made) then set the hours per day to 7.5 and hours per week to 37.5

Lastly you can make sure that your Project starts at the correct time too.

Go to Tools>Options>View and select a date format that includes the time.

Got to your Project start (Project menu then Project Information) and see if your Project is starting at 9:00 or the old time of 8:00. Correct if necessary.

Also if you have tasks already in the plan you might want to check their start and finish times are correct too. If you have reduced the amount of work in a day you may find your durations need correcting.

Hope this helps - best to make a backup of your plan before trying this to make sure you are happy with the results before proceeding with the rest of your plan.

Do let us know if you have any further questions. Kind regards, Andrew
