can i use multiple filter?

RE: filters

Hi Daniela,

Thank you for your question.

First make a copy of the main headings and paste them somewhere else on the spreadsheet. Under these copied headings place the desired criteria.

The next step is to access advanced filtering. To access this feature, go to Data - Autofilter - Advanced Filter. There are two main elements:

1. List range - Selection of cells that represent the excel list
2. Criteria range - Select the range of cels that includes the copied headings and the row or rows of criteria underneath.
3. Click OK.
4. When you have finished, go to Data - Autofilter - Show All.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Adding date and time

Here are two quick ways to add the date and time to your spreadsheet:

1) Type =NOW(), which displays both date and time in the same cell
or
2) Hold Ctrl and type the colon (:) into one cell for the date and the semi-colon(;)into another for the time.

Note that =NOW() updates to the current date/time whenever the spreadsheet recalculates.
