Can you import dates from an outlook calender?
RE: MS Project
Hi Marietta,
Thank you for your question.
In Project there is no direct way of doing this. However Project has the option to import Microsoft Outlook tasks.
In Calendar view, go to View and then show the Task Pad.
So what you could do is to drag your appointments to the task pad showing on the right hand side of your calendar view and save them as a task.
Then in Project, you can use the Tools Import Outlook Tasks and then bring them in that way.
I hope this answers your question.
Regards
Simon

If you were our trainer then you very kindly went through that, not to worry i think the task thing will be useful but total importability would have been great in terms of review dates etc.
Thanks, the training was really good,

MS Project tip:Compare Work and DurationDuration is the timescale within which a task is done; Work is the specific time element used. For example, 3 days work in a duration of 2 weeks. To compare, add the Work field into the Entry table by right clicking a column heading to Add Field. |
