Thank you for your question
If you open up the tracking toolbar (View-Toolbars-Tracking) and then click on the progress line button (4th from right) you will then be prompted to position the progress line.
Simply move your mouse pointer over the timescale bar at the top of the Gannt chart until you are over the time when you want to display your progress line.
Then just click the mouse and the progress line will appear
