How do I use a database formula to query?
RE: Databases Excel
Hi Katrina
Thank you for your question; and welcome to the forum.
There are a group of functions in Excel called the Database functions, which allow you to find totals, averages, minimums, maximums (amongst other summary figures) from an Excel database, according to criteria that you specify.
If you search for functions in Excel Help, there should be a 'Worksheet functions listed by category' subtopic that appears which you can then use to access further information on the database functions.
I hope this helps.
Amanda

Excel tip:Customize the toolbar in Excel 2010You can create your own toolbar which contains your favourite or most used tools. This will make using Excel much more efficient. To do this, you need to click on View, then select Customize Quick access Toolbars and then select Customize. A list of tools will then appear on the screen of which you can add or remove them as you please. |
