How do you add an address on separate lines within one single cell?

RE: Excel - Adding multiple lines within a single cell

Dear Rose

Thank you attending the Excel Intermediate course. I hope you enjoyed the course and found the day to be fruitful.

To force the cursor to blink on the next line on the same cell you have to press ALT+Enter. This is also known as a line break.

It you wish to simply put some text on the separate lines without adjusting the column width you can also use the Wrap text facility which you can find in Format > Cells

The Easiest Way to See a Sum or Average in Excel 2010

Did you know the quickest and most simple way of working out the average or sum of a set of numbers?

Highlight numbers in cells or type some numbers in cells and then look at the status bar at the bottom of the window. Here you will see a display of the average of the numbers, as well as a count of the cells and the sum of these cells.
