RE: formulas

Hi Nadja,
Thank you for your post, in answer to your question, what sort of formulas are you looking for; in our advanced course we cover the most common such as;AND, OR, IF, SUMIF, V/HLOOKUP, PMT, GOAL SEEKER, SOLVER and SCENARIOS, we also show how to use the fx (Insert Function) dialog box which gives you access to over 150 different Functions, in addition we give an introduction to creating Custom Functions. It would be difficult to include many more options as they tend to be for very specific individual requirements, as well as time constraints for completing all the other areas which are in the course syllabus.
I personally learnt to use formulas and functions by accessing the fx (Insert Function) dialog box and experimenting with the many options available, as well as using on line and Excel's own Help facilities.
I hope that has been of help to you, if so please click the Resolved link, Best regards Pete

Excel tip:

Display Formulas Instead of Results in Excel 2010

By pressing Ctrl ~ once, Excel will display formulas rather than the results of the formulas. Press it again, and the results will appear again.

A much quicker and simpler way of displaying your formulas!
