how do you insert email address from student database when you dont use outlook coz you cant get the pop3 thingys to work and have to use bt yahoo page for your emails. How do you get outlook on new machine operating on vista to work when xp was a far better op pack and my outlook worked on there but I didnt have my db designed at that time. now crutial I email my students not print and post flyers as too expensive.

Thank you for your question regarding email addresses

To insert an email address or hyperlink do the followng:

1.
Open a form, a report, or a data access page in Design view.
On the Insert menu, click Hyperlink.

2.
In the Insert Hyperlink dialog box, click E-mail address under Link to.

3.
In the Text to display box, type the text that you want displayed in the field or text box. If you leave the box blank, Access will use the e-mail address as the display text.

4.
Click ScreenTip, and type the text that you want to appear when the user rests the pointer on the hyperlink. If you leave the ScreenTip text box blank, Access will display the e-mail address as the ScreenTip.

5.
In the E-mail address box, type an e-mail address. You can also select an address from the Recently used e-mail addresses list.

6.
In the Subject box, type the information that you want to appear in the Subject field of the e-mail message.

7.
Click OK.

Access tip:

Design View in Relationship window

Your in the Relationship window and changes are required to be made to a Table's design.

Rather than exiting the Relationship window, if you perform a right-mouse click on the table, it opens that table up in Design view
