Can I use VB to program?

RE: Macros

Hi Zander

I trust the you found your Excel Intermediate course useful.

In responce to your question VB standing for Visual Basic is a Microsoft programming language. Visual Basic can be used the same way as any other programming language. Generally Visual Basic is part of the Microsoft Visual Studio package, however it is available seperately.

Hope this helps

David

Excel tip:

Display Functions on Worksheets

Functions in Excel can be difficult to recall their format/syntax

For example, you want to use the =PMT function.

Enter =PMT, then select keystroke, CTRL+SHIFT+A.

This usful memory jog, will display the arguments of a function on a worksheet, allowing the user to proceed with the generation of the function
