Is there anyway of saving a template that you have created for a report or a form so that this can be used and then imported on the future?
Thanks
Matt
RE: Microsoft Access 2007
Hi Matt, Thank you for the post, in answer to your question; because the report is dependant upon an underlying query or table, you are restricted in how much you can pre-create, but there is no reason why you could not create a template ie a (blank report) with the appropriate formatting and design labels in particular areas which you can then populate with the appropriate fields when you need to use it.
In order to point your 'template' at the right table or query you will need to change its Source in the Report Properties though.
I hope that helps, best regards Pete.

Access tip:Zoom feature for queriesIf youare working on on query design and creating a calculated field, it can be hard to view the whole statement. You can hold the shift key down and press F2, to show the zoomed up version of the query field |
