To save a template there are two ways of looking at it
1. As a template you are using, for this go the file and save then give your file a name and choose a location the click save
2. If this is a file you want to save as a template, then after you have created the file go to the save place for saving i.e. file and save
2A. When you are in the save as window, from the save as type drop down list choose excel template, then give it a name and click save
3. To then usethis template go to file and new then from task pane on the right of your screen click on my computer
3A. go to the general tab and double click your template
