Deborah has attended:
Excel Intermediate course
Formulas
Is there any quick and easy way to have the basic, everyday formulas supplied?
RE: formulas
Hi Deborah
Firstly thankyou for attending the course on Tuesday, and i hope you enjoyed it
The answer to your question is there are basic formulas that are used as you may remember from Tuesday at the start of the day, we went through a refresher on formulas
he is a list of the bacis ones you may need
=sum(b3:b20) means add from b3 to b20
=average(b4,b7,d10,f5) find the average of the cells
=max(b4:d10) return the highest number from a range
=count(a3:h20) will count how many cells there are
you could also use the autosum button from the standard toolbar
that looks like this an M on its side
Hope this helps you
