What is a compliant XHTML file?
RE: Dreamweaver file types
Hi Ray,
It means that the XHTML file is written correctly, uses appropriate tags and contains no errors.
You can check if your XHTML document is valid for free at http://validator.w3.org
Once checked, they will give you a 'button' which you can put on your page to let everyone know the page is compliant, and you can click the button at any time to recheck your document.
I hope this answers your question. If it doesn't, please reply to this post and I'll get back to you. If it does, please mark this question as resolved.
Kind regards,
Rich
