How do I change all start times in the calendar to 09.00 (from the default 08.00)
RE: MS Project
Hi Judith
Thanks for your question
This is a three step process.
First, go to tools-change working time and select the base calendar that the project is using as it's default. If you then select the column heads from Monday to Friday and change the start time from 08:00 to 09:00. This defines the amount of time available for work on the project.
Next, go to Tools-Options and select the calendar tab. Here change the start time to 09:00 and then adjust the hours per day to 7 and hours per week to 35.(I am assuming that you have kept the finish time as 17:00). This defines the actual amount of time that will be worked on the project.
Finally, if you already have a task in the project, then you might find that the start time is already set to 08:00. If you you will need to manually change these in the task's start field. If the task dates show only dates and not times then you need to go to Tool-Options-View and select a date format that includes the time.
Hope this helps
Regards
Stephen
