Excel (Calculations)

When utilising a large number of formula (30 columns, 62000 rows)is there a way to stop the sheet from calculating until all amendments have been made. At the moment the machine/excel are crashing due to the demands of the formula calculations.

RE: Excel (Calculations)

Hi Michael, Thanks for the post, in answer to your question; 62000 rows? 56,536 max, however to stop your computer from calculating every time an entry is made go to Menu command Tool, Options and in the Calculation Tab, Choose the option to Manually calculate, when you have entered all your amendments press the F9 (Function 9) key to calculate.
Hope that helps, best regards Pete

RE: Excel (Calculations)

Thank you - it has resolved my query. (65,536 rows available in excel)

Excel tip:

Move data worksheet to worksheet

To move data from one worksheet to another, highlight the data.

Select and hold down the ALT key and position the mouse on the border of the selection until the mouse pointer displays four-headed arrows.

Drag the selection down to the destination worksheet tab.

When the arrow touches the tab, Excel switches to the desired worksheet. Now drag the selection to the correct position. Let go of the mouse and then the ALT key.

To copy data from one worksheet to another, select and hold down the CTRL+ALT keystroke combination and perform the steps above.
