Excel printing

how do you set up print preferences in excel (eg set print area).

Printing printsetup ranges

Hi Naomi

Your question is a bit vague - do you mean how can you set up multiple print ranges on one sheet or do you mean where is the set print area command? I assume you mean the first.

For multiple print ranges, the easy way is to name each range you want to print. Then select the range you want to print from the NAME box.

Choose FILE then PRINT, click on the SELECTION option in the dialog and click the Print button.

Each time you do this you will print a different range from the same sheet.

Good luck!

Alan

Excel tip:

Select blank cells automatically

Get Excel to find any blank (empty) cells in a region for you by:

1. Selecting the appropriate region from your spreadsheet.

2. On the menu bar, go to Edit - Go to.

3. Click the 'Special' button, then select Blanks and click OK.
