Shortcuts
how do you create shortcuts to launch word/excel from the task bar?
Shortcuts taskbar launch
Hi Sarah!
Click the START button, go to PROGRAMS and when the menu comes up:
1. point the mouse at the program you want to launch (eg WORD)
2. hold down the CONTROL key
3. hold down the left mouse button while pressing CONTROL
4. drag the program to the task bar and release
This adds a shortcut to the task bar but also leaves it in the menu
MAKE SURE YOU HOLD DOWN THE CONTROL KEY WHILE DRAGGING
Regards
Alan
